LED lithium flashlight

I bought one of these on clearance for $15.00. I'm very impressed, especially considering the price. I may get some more for Christmas presents.
Enter the word "stimulus" in the coupon code at checkout.

Re: LED lithium flashlight

As a follow up, this thing puts out more light than my 3 D cell LED Maglight. Definitely getting some more.

The # on the battery is - 123. It says photo battery on it. It is a little larger diameter than a AA, and about 2/3's the length of a AA. They have a link on the above link for these batteries. 20 for $25.

Re: LED lithium flashlight

Those are the CR-123 batteries. You may want to see if you can fit one rechargeable 18650 battery, they last a long time in the led lights. You can find a good deal on flashlights, batteries, chargers...etc from DealExtreme: Cool Gadgets at the Right Price - Site-Wide Free Shipping (Page 1). They have a similar light along with the batteries and different mounts to fit them on a scope plus free shipping that im gonna take advantage of. They also have the led dome lights for about $9 each.

Re: LED lithium flashlight

I keep a couple of Inova brand LED flashlights in the family vehicles. They are powered by 123A lithium batteries like your Inova Bolt.

I've lost too many Maglites due to alkaline battery leakage, a condition made more likely when kept in vehicles due to the temperature extremes of cold midwest winters and hot summers.

In the unlikely event that a lithium cell leaks, it will not ruin the flashlight as an alkaline cell will. Plus, lithium battery shelf life is years longer than alkaline batteries.

The 123A batteries be purchased at much lower prices from some Internet dealers than in local stores.

A lot of us flashlight hobbyists hang out on CandlePowerForums.com.

Re: LED lithium flashlight

The inova lights are nice but I needed a few other things so I ordered Ultrafire shown here - DealExtreme: $14.14 Ultrafire WF-502B 3W Cree 18650 Flashlight Some of the 18650 powered lights can also be powered by two Cr123s. The cree led flashlights are amazingly bright.

Another Pro not listed is the Strike Bezel for putting a hole in the head of an attacker.
