Anyone know if I can get a locking gas cap at Canadian Tire?

Anyone know if Canadian Tire would have locking gas caps that fit the FJ or will I need to go to Toyota?

I think you need something that works with FJ - needs to ensure things stay presurized. A number of people have ordered from the States for about $12 US + shipping; I couldn't be bothered and paid the $23 CDN from Toyota.

Never had a problem but I guess I've always had a locking cap. I would be more concerned with someone putting something in the tank than taking it out.

Just go to any Toyota dealer - they all have them now for the FJ - paid $23 for mine at Canyon Creek - they fit perfect!!

Yes, someone putting something is the concern, better safe than sorry.
I checked at Canadian tire and the 2004 locking gas cap for the Tacoma is near the price of the one from Toyota so might as well just get it at Toyota.
The dealer that I got the FJ from said the gas cap was on back order, will have to try other Toyota dealers.

I got mine from Charlesglen - not sure if they have any left or not.

Just ordered one from Charlesglen Toyota. That and a passenger side arm rest. $22 for the gas cap.
