Airbags in Canada

Hi,

Just about to order my FJ but disapointed that one cannot purchase side airbags unless you get the C model.

Any thoughs on this? How can I get the side airbags without having to order the most expensive model?

I live in Surrey, BC so going accross the border to buy may be an option (I think??).

New to this forum - looks fantastic with great info and insight.

Yeah I'm disapointed with that too. There's alot of stuff on the C model that I didn't want. Good luck hunting. You will love this truck.

You're out of luck in Canada. You have to get the "C" package to get the side curtain airbags. Going state side is an option, but you'll have to check out the emissions regulations. Canadian law requires more emissions devices than in the USA. Can be costly. I have the FJ "C" package. Was more money but, I'm worth it and so are you.
