Eastern Ontario FJ Run - August 18/19

This is a feeler thread to see how many folks would be interested in an FJ meet at Lingham Lake, the weekend of August 18/19. This is a hydro cut run that can be run stock, but has opportunities to play a bit if interested. There's also a nice spot to camp by the lake for those interested in running both Saturday and Sunday.

Approximate Google Earth Coordinates are:

"Kaladar" lat=44.643681, lon=-77.113419

You can see some pics of my last trip there here:

Canadian Wheeling - Lots of Pics

I was pretty much stock then except for some 285 BFGs. I don't pretend to be a trail guide or expert in offroading but will provide any assistance I can if we pull this together. Let me know if you have any interest.

Thanks

Stuart

Just checked my work schedule and August 18/19 is my weekend off. I'd be interested in this run. My FJ is stock "C" package.

I might be up for this run. It's a long way out, so it's a bit difficult to say for certain. I travel out of the country quite frequently, and I know for a fact I will be in California sometime in August, just not sure which weekend.

Tentatively you can count me as a yes.

Re: Eastern Ontario FJ Run - August 18/19

I'd be interested in migrating down from the Timmins area for this! I'd have to make sure I have that weekend free plus some time before/after (for the commute) from work, but I don't foresee a big problem with that. I am ACHING to get my 6MT offroad, preferably with others more experienced than I am (I'm novice, but eager as heck!!!!).

(probably Budbuilts), Gobi Stealth rack & lights, suspension with lift (either Allpro or Donahoe),
better tires with wheels (probably Destination A/T's), DIRT 'n' FUN!!
Jezebel, my 5MT 1997 VW Golf, was laid to rest.
Tried 'n' true MT girl - LOVING my FJC!!
