Lightbulb mini Add-a-circuit (fuse tapper)

Hi guys.
Following some of the threads (ie. Thanks Matt,PIAA lights installed) on the forum, seems like this little gadget is quite handy. and since I couldnt find any in Calgary, I've ordered some online and should be here in a week or so.

I've ordered a few extra's (handful), so, if anyone local (Calgary, Edmonton?) need a couple, PM me, you can have it for the same cost i pay. not sure what it is yet, but i would imagine around 13-15$/CDN ea. (cost+shipping+duties/quantity). The actual cost is $ 9.49/ea US.
I've seen some cheaper elsewhere, but shipping charges was ridiculous!!!

I am not to make money on this, just wanna break even and help out if i can.
and if you DO know a place in Calgary/Edmonton that has it, please post location(s).

Thanks!
Gerry

This is where i ordered from.

Re: mini Add-a-circuit (fuse tapper)

I've had trouble finding them in Toronto too, the guys at my Can Tire are useless and can't tell the difference between a mini fuse and a snow tire...then again I didn't know much when I was 14 either. I've been thinking of ordering some too.

Was thinking of getting these:
The Access

anyone try them?

I don't know about Canada, but I found one at Advanced Auto yesterday. They keep them instock now.

I can sympathize with you on sales people, asking if they had one he led me to an in line fuse.... then offered that I should wire it in to the cigarette thing...

Re: mini Add-a-circuit (fuse tapper)

Judging by that other thread it doesn't look like thats what I need. I'm looking for something that I can plug into the interior power so that I don't have to run my GPS off the cigarette lighter. I think I know what I need to do for this though.

Re: mini Add-a-circuit (fuse tapper)

so, these finally came in today!
i got 5 extra's if anyone is looking. cost = 13.00/ea (actually 13.06)
i saw them at Canadian Tire (up in Slave Lake) for $15.69/ea (but came with fuses).
the Wirthco ones i have is just the fuse tap as seen in picture on my first post.
