Re: All Pro Supplier In Canada?

I order my AllPro stuff straight from them. No complaints at all. They ship UPS and get to Ontario from Cali in 10 days. Cheapest way in my area.

Re: All Pro Supplier In Canada?

How are the brokerage and "handling" handling fees when they send their shipments? I have bought from US distributors in the past and have had good experiences and horrible ones with respect to the hidden shipping costs that you get dinged with.

Re: All Pro Supplier In Canada?

I've ordered direct from All Pro too although I seem to recall a distributor in Vancouver. I could be wrong though.

Shipping is fast, if not cheap. I think duty was ~$100 on a full set of skids but again, I could be wrong

Re: All Pro Supplier In Canada?

If you call the shipper prior to delivery and pay for duty with a credit card then you can avoid COD charges. Usually ~$10.

Re: All Pro Supplier In Canada?

You know I did that before as well.
Paid the duty but got stung with a brokerage fee. The next time I asked to pay all additional charges (i.e. brokerage and duty) and I still got hit with taxes and additional delivery charges. I know you can't avoid the taxes coming into Canada but I really hate not knowing what the charges are going to be after you have already paid the retail amount with the company.
Thanks for you reply though.

Re: All Pro Supplier In Canada?

It sucks getting slapped in the face by a hidden charge but I'd bet in the end it's still cheaper than getting it from a distributor up here with their huge mark up.

Re: All Pro Supplier In Canada?

Agreed. The markup in Canada is ridiculous. I can't believe what some of these places charge. Some are definately better than others but still it's terrible. I have had good prices from North Shore Offroad here in Vancouver but they don't deal in All -Pro.

Re: All Pro Supplier In Canada?

Ok, I thought it was North Shore who was an All Pro dealer... so I don't know of any dealer up here.

See if you can get them to ship via parcel post. They (Parcel Post) only charge you $5.00 plus GST. I personally don't like dealing with UPS. The want your "first born" just to clear customs. In some cases I've been charged more money to clear customs than I paid for the article that UPS was importing for me.
