Re: noice!

Hey Spill,

Can't wait to see some pics when you get a chance!
Out of curiousity how much was the shipping/duty/brokerage/general wallet rape? I would like to order but am still leary about the hidden charges.

I've learned some really good info on getting parts into our cold Northern country. If you are near the boarder look at TSB Shipping (tsbshipping.com) in Point Roberts. They charge very reasonable rates to hold items for you. You just go down and pick the stuff up, declare at the border and pay PST and GST. No duty or hassle at all cause it all falls under NAFTA.

Looking forward to pics of all the cool parts Spill - congrats on that motherload of mods!!

Re: noice!

picking it up at the border would be cool, but it would cost me a couple hundred in gas in the fj in itself since i'm prolly about a 10hour drive or so north of it, so it essentially ends up coming to about the same as them sending it right to my door.

Re: noice!

Hey Spill sounds good. Where was your All Pro stuff sent from. I was quoted about the same for a SAW suspension kit shipping from Metal Tech but Mark was good and offered to cover $50 of it since they are paying frieght in the US. Was that 120 you paid UPS including taxes??

Re: noice!

yeah, that was including taxes with UPS. umm can't remember exactly what each piece cost and then the shipping on top of it. i know it was more then just 120. i think the 120 was from crossing the border etc. and i got everything shipped straight from Allpro itself. actually came pretty quick too, once the payment was processed i think it only took about 7 work days or so to get here. that's not too bad considering the size and weight of the pieces. The UPS lady in my area is getting to know me now lol. She's brought me about 4 or 5 things in the past few weeks lol. Tuffy security box, stuff for my new impreza, the Allpro stuff, my Moto Metal rims... lol.
