Calgary = FJ Town?

So I am in Calgary for business and I can't get over how many FJ's I am seeing here! Coming from Vancouver I do see my fair share back home but it sure seems that there are a lot more out here. I have already seen two Iceburgs out here and I have seen only 1 (mine) in Vancity. There have been a few modded ones as well rolling through the streets. Maybe it is just me???

Re: Calgary = FJ Town?

I'm in Grand Prairie this week at a teachers conference and am amazed at how many fj's there are in Alberta. I see them everywhere but not many mods. Even ran into a forum member, dccruiser in Dawson creek!

There are tons here... almost to the point where there are too many. Mainly middle-aged people driving them. Seen a few nicely modded ones too. But they're everywhere.

I like the middle-age moniker.. That would give me a lifespan of 106! Ron

Re: Calgary = FJ Town?

well there are at least 8 FJs in or around Olds (north of Calgary), and it is quit funny that every single on is different, like i have see some that are stock then some with some mods (mine being the most on it) , ones with the roof rack and then there are some with out. But the big winner for colours are Blue, Silver, and Yellow, oh and I think there is one black one here also

Re: Calgary = FJ Town?

I got my silver FJ a couple of months ago, and ever since I started driving it, I started noticing how many other people also drive them. Mine's still pretty much bone stock, gotta pay it off first!!

Re: Calgary = FJ Town?

Yeah I was quite surprised to see that many of them.
I was in a board (bored) room with big windows looking downtown and I started counting them as they went by below. I don't remember how many I counted and I may have drifted off for a bit. It was a little bit like counting sheep. In general there were a lot more trucks than here in BC but it's good to see the FJ is alive and well in AB!
