Re: UPDATED with PICS Vancouver (area) Wheeling trip - March 29th

We had a great turn out on Saturday. 7 trucks in all. 6 Xterras and one 4runner.
Here is the list of who was there:

Bueller44 - 2005 Xterra White "s"
Hazmatt888 - 2006 Xterra Silver "s"
Roughroad - 2004 Xterra Solar Yellow
AndrewJ - 2006 Xterra White "s"
VA7XS - 2006 Xterra White "OR"
Sauerkraut - 2003 Xterra Tan
Tim - 2004 4runner

Our last trip on February 2nd had only 3 of us (Bueller44, Hazmat888, and Roughroad) so to have 6 Xterras and a 4runner was awesome. There is definetly an active Xterra croud in the lower mainland and warrants the start up of an Xterra Club - now called the Southern British Columbia Xterra club or www.sbcx.ca.

So, we met up at the Sasquatch Inn at 9:30 a.m. and after the usual introductions, pictures, and looking at each others rigs, we headed out at 10:00.
I must say that it was pretty impressive seeing these 7 rigs head out of the parking lot. I do think that this was the largest group of Xterras together for a wheeling trip in the lower mainland. Made me proud!!

Here is a link to the posting on thenewx.org.
Just copying it over was too big for this site.

Sorry I couldn't make it again...

I was mud bogging on Herrling Island on my XR 200.

I've never been so muddy in my life!

I hope you will keep posting here Bueller, because I really do want to wheel with you guys.

Hey Joel is that a Honda XR200?

Where is Herrling Island?

A buddy of mine just got a Yamaha 350 Quad and he has a couple of dirt bikes as well. We were going to go riding but he broke his ankle taking a spill on one of the bikes. Dummy. hahaha!

Yeah, Honda XR 200. Herrling Island is past the turnoff to Agassiz on Highway 1. It is a left hand exit, but signs are posted. Keep in mind it is an Island though, and as such is seasonal riding. The Fraser has to be shallow enough for you to cross onto the island on the entry side.
