EDIT: Springs are SOLD! Butter's rig is getting a fecelift!
Hey guys,
I have a set of OME 883 front springs sitting here collecting dust. These springs will level the front of your FJ. They are not the "lift" springs (884, 885, 886 - soft, medium, firm) but they will take the front of your FJ up closer to the ride height of the stock rear eliminating rake. I needed them for about 15 to 20k to stop my ARB bumper and winch equipped FJ from dragging the front skid on the ground while I saved for a proper lift, but you don't need the bumper to use 'em.
They have LOTS of life left. They work with your stock shocks. You will need an alignment after install, and install can be "do-it-yourself" but you need a coil compressor (or have a shop assemble them for you if this bothers you).
IF we can find a time together, I wouldn't mind helping you install them. I could bring my spring compressor over for you to use, and I'll walk you through it, but you gotta be a decent garage mechanic to want to attempt this. I have done it 3 times on my rig: 883, 885, 886. Bigger and stiffer every time. I'm happy now, but I know not everyone wants a full on lift. I didn't... at first... and now I drive a tank. Looking at a Yaris for when this thing is paid off next year!
They were $160 US plus shipping, asking $100 CAD obo. Will ship within Canada but shipping on these heavy springs may not be pretty!
I didn't put this in the for sale forum because I would like them to stay in Canada. We have a little more trouble getting parts up, no need to send them back south!
