Thumbs up Re: Best Toyota Dealer in Denver

I know it's s stretch from Denver, but I'll third Boulder Toyota. I actually bought my Sandi at Go Toyota near I-25 and 470, but only because they were the winner in a 3-hour price battle between them and Stapp near our house in Frederick (hadn't even considered Boulder ....not sure why since I go there every day).

I work in Boulder. So, it just made sense to bring it there for service. Other than tires (which I get taken care of at Discount in Longmont) and when the collision happened in January, the only mechanic to ever touch her is Jacob (Dale's team).

They've never let me down (well, except one day when I waited for a shuttle ride in the lobby for almost an hour until they went to take off and took everyone else - even though I was there first - and said I'd have to wait till the next one....I ended up walking to work.....2-3 miles.....not so bad I guess, but was very frustrating at the time....still I wrote it off as a bad, busy day).

Re: Best Toyota Dealer in Denver

I bought my FJ at Stevinson West in Lakewood.

I've had to take my FJ in a couple times for two warranty issues (I've got a certified platinum warranty).

The first was the FJammer radio, CD changer didn't work so they swapped it out, no questions.

The second was the driver's side door accuator went out so they replaced it under warranty. What I didn't expect or like was that I had to agree to pay for the time looked at the door if the warranty didn't cover the service (about $100) That was a blindside. Thankfully, it was under warranty.

Is that common practice with warranty service at dealers? Anyone?

I was going to say something, but I didn't want to be called an ass.
I just figured I'd wait this time to see how long it took someone else to chime in.

Re: Best Toyota Dealer in Denver

Thanks for all the responses. Since Mountain States is closest we will give them a try first. We arrived Friday and it has been snowing ever since. This is tough weather for Floridians. After I get my daughter settled in and this weather clears I would like to explore. I am a nature photographer and hope to take advantage of Colorado's fine scenery. I might even try Moab for a few days. Do you need chains to drive in the mountains?
