general question: what kind of a deal did you get on your FJ? i'm currently shopping an fj, and having a hard time getting any kind of a deal! the toyota home site shows an 07 fj auto w/ upgrade package 1 at $28,705 but i cant seem to get anything off sticker, not to mention they don't wanna find me the upgrade 1 fj i'm looking for! what should i do...? how much did you get off sticker...? any advice...?

Oh and I got a sh*t deal b/c I got Futoshi when they first came out.
$500 off sticker and a $1000 rebate, plus I got a great price for my trade (1995 Mitsubishi Montero with 150k miles). Just did the deal a week ago.
Oh yeah, almost forgot. I got an $800 allowance at the local Crutchfield to upgrade the stereo since the only upgraded stereo FJ's had all the other options I DID NOT WANT. They will cut me an $800 check any day now, but I'm going to use it for tires instead.
I got just what I wanted, the Convience package, locker, alloys, rack.
It took two hours of wheeling dealing to get it through, plus two test drives of my trade by two different dealer guys.

Have you considered looking at pre-owned FJ's? There are actually getting to be a few around... check ebay, and even this forum... I bought mine off of ebay back in November for $28K with only 1800 miles. It listed for over $32K will all of the upgrades and the guy even had added some stuff to it that I would've done anyway... I fell like I made out like a bandit.. pays to look around...

Got mine back in April. Paid sticker. Which is about the same price I could have gotten the Rubicon I was looking at too after talking them down on the price.
So I don't feel cheated, but never had to pay sticker before. such is the deal with a hot new ride that is in demand.
