I found a write up on AOL about dealer negotiations that may help with anyone trying to purchase a FJ. The thing about this that may help is that I used to sell cars (for 6.5yrs) and did these same exact things that are in this write up when I negotiated for my FJ. I learned these technique's while selling cars and observing people's reactions. I also posted my buying experience when purchasing my FJ in the following thread Trade-in process?

Or you could just work through the Internet Department. Every dealership now has one, and is the new way to buy a vehicle.

If you just walk onto the lot you are begging for them to waste your time, beat you up. It is the old school way of buying a car.

My customers work with me and only me. I have sold to a few individuals on this board (PDXtuning, etc.)

Buying a vehicle should be a exciting experience!!!
