Good deal in SoCal?

This is what I was offered today on a Titanium Silver 4x4 Auto:

Options: Upgrade Pkg #2, Convenience Pkg, Side Curtain Air Bags, Roof Rack, Tow Hitch, Tire Cover, Running Boards, and Carpet Floor + Cargo Mat

Price is $28,107 - $749 over invoice / $3,059 off of MSRP

Good?

Re: Good deal in SoCal?

tell them to keep the running boards, take another 200 or more off, and then get some rock rails from Demello, for a few bucks more. check his site out or look him up in the search area. my .02
but sounds fair enough.

Re: Good deal in SoCal?

Yep, BS. But that's still a great deal. Coming from someone who paid MSRP a year ago, it's a GREAT deal. In fact, it's one of the lowest I've seen reported here.

If you don't want the RBs, you can take 'me off and sell 'em on eBay.

I'd sign up.

I can tell you that Dealer usually not take those things off and sell the car to you. Your best luck will be getting them for free. .

BTW I sent you PM. Good Luck with your new ride. I am loving my FJ. I get so much attention, it's not even funny. All my wife's friend's husbands are telling me that they wanted this car but their wives said "NO". FYI, I did have to some work for my wife to get me in a FJ. Many screaming night.

Re: Good deal in SoCal?

Thanks for the info Moon!

Update:

I played 2 dealers against each other, used the "$100 under invoice at Longo" story, and got a dealer here to match that. Hopefully I'll have it by the end of the week!! Can't wait!!!

Yeah, I gues the Internet Sales Manager I'm dealing with down here started his career at Longo, so he knew I wasn't bullsh*tting him about that kind of deal. Works for me!
