Great Experience in Salt Lake City

got my VooDoo Blu 4703E FJ last week!!
did my discussions w/ Spencer and Phil in the internet dept. i was intially going to get a more equipped truck, but after reconsidering what my needs are for this truck, the base model w/ convenience and tow pak, will do me more than fine.. the guys were low pressure, accomodating and fair.. Nice discount considering most are paying full and even add on or fair market adjustment stickers.. If you're in the market in Salt lake or even close by Utah, Mark Miller will take care of you, and treat you w/ care and respect.
thanks to Roger, Mark, Phil and Spencer!!

Sweet. I'll be giving them a call this week to see what they can do for me.

We had a great experience with Scott Sobzak (sp?) out at Karl Malone Toyota.

Another vote for Spencer at Mark Miller. My FJ is setting there right now waiting for us to go get it.

Here is another Kudos for Mark Miller... I actually bought mine from Menlove - but have my service done at Mark Miller - Wendall in service has done a great job of taking care of my rig.

Re: Great Experience in Salt Lake City

I couldn't even get negotiations started at M. Miller. The next week a different dealer offered me an FJ at true invoice and I sped down to buy it.

Re: Great Experience in Salt Lake City

Back in September I e-mailed all Toyota dealers in Utah. I got a response from Menlove within a few hours with a price quote on the FJ I wanted. Mark Miller e-mailes a few days later saying that they were difficult to get, no other info like what is coming in, or how long to order one. I put my money down on one at Menlove since they were the only ones that were prompt and seemed interested in selling an FJ. Mine came in 3 days after I put money down. I picked it up the evening it came in and everything was fast and smooth. Of course I already had the financial portion arranged ahead of time. I'm not saying anything bad about other dealerships, but the one that is most prompt and gives me the info I want without the run-around, gets my business.
Just my observation, the first post in this thread seems like it is being made by a salesman trying to drum up some business for MMtoy. I may be mistaken, but I think the internet sales guy that e-mailed me eventually from MMtoy, his name was Frank. Maybe a coincidence, but he seems to know the first names of many sales folks at that place. How many of you all remember the salespersons name who sold you yours let alone ALL of them in the joint?

I wanted to add, Larry miller also said that they were tough to get, then said "are you interested in looking at a Jeep Wrangler?"

Re: Great Experience in Salt Lake City

Can you guys post how much you paid for your FJC's (ones that bought recently)? You don't have to post the exact figure, but just a approx. out-the-door price and what options you got. I just want to know what they're going for in our region.

Thanks.

Re: Great Experience in Salt Lake City

I went with Menlove as well. They were the most prompt in contacting me and actually knowing about the vehicle. I knew more than every other salesperson that I spoke with at Karl Malone and Brent Brown. No one else ever contacted me back. I drove 75 miles from home to buy from them and passed at least 4 other Toyota dealers to get there. They also seemed to have a pretty good supply line. The guy who sold me mine (Brad) said he had sold 4 that week (a little over a month ago).

To answer P Nut, I got about $1000 off of MSRP and had the dealer install a 3 inch Tuff-Country lift and BFG MT tires. It added to my sticker price, but it's all under financing and warranty.
