Trail Teams Financing Question

Hi Guys, My Dealership Still Has One Tt Available, I Test Drove It And All, And It's Awesome. Now Comes Down To The Financing Part. With Tax, Fees And Amount, No Dealer Markups. Total Price Is: $35,945. My Question Is That I Have This Option To Finance It: 75months, 6.6% Rate And $555/month With $2,000 Down. Is This Pretty Good? I Don't Make A Super Amount Of Money, But I Just Want To Know What's Everyone Paying For Their Fj's.

IMHO, that sounds a bit high to me. What options are on this TT? Do you have a trade-in? Also, how is your credit? Just FYI........I bought my FJ in March, '06, a 4X4 Auto with only the Rear Locker and Side-Air Bags as options. I had a trade in, as well, so I only paid about $14,500 OTD, so unfortunately, my deal compares to yours much like apples to oranges, so to speak.

Re: Trail Teams Financing Question

That interest rate is actually quite good for the period of time (75 months). That just seems like a really long time to be financing a new car.

Re: Trail Teams Financing Question

Hi guys, thanks for your input, the trail teams has everything loaded, speakers, to lockers, arm rest, etc. Also I don't have a trade-in and just going by my credit score, which is of over 700, and at the moment I'm just using my tax return of $2k to put down. The rest I have in savings, and don't want to take out from there along with some bills. And 75 months is fine with me because I know this will last me awhile and will be my only car. Coming from a 98 limited edition 4runner, which has done me well. I'm giving to my brother to keep and maintain. I would be using the fj for outgoings, etc. not too much off roading but more trail riding. Just wanted to see what other people have paid, ofcourse every dealer is different and this is a limited edition fj, so go figure. Decisions......

That interest rate is really good, Toyota's best rate when I bought mine was 7.9. I'd look around at credit unions though, they've been in the low 5s from what I've seen. 75 months is a weird one though, or did you mean 72 months?

$555 x 75 = 41625 + $2000 = 43625 for the FJ. That's assuming tax and tags are included in your financing. If not, tack that on as well.
