Anyone know the TRD supercharger invoice price??

Caution: Long time lurker, first time poster.....(hopefully first time FJ owner as well)

The Question:
Despite how hard I've looked, I haven't been able to find the dealer's invoice price for the TRD Supercharger & FJ fit kit. Has anyone successfully negotiated for a TRD SC @ invoice price when purchasing a new FJ?

Background:
A local dealer has a 2007 Black Diamond 4X4
w/ CQ,UR,GY,RB,and Z1.
With all the incentives they say I can walk with it for invoice + tax, lic...

The supercharger is of great importance to me, but the sales folk seem to only be interest in selling me the vehicle now, and allow me to worry about the SC later

Any Advice?

Thanks
-Derek

I paid $3647 including the fit kit and shipping, but I don't know what invoice is.

That's great. That's around $1k off MSRP.

So was it worth it?

Re: Anyone know the TRD supercharger invoice price??

Thanks, but I'm located in the Central Valley out here in CA. Also I just got a phone call from one of the dealerships I'm working with out here and they were trying to tell me that Toyota can no longer sell the TRD Supercharger as part the initial vehicle price, and they no longer honor the full vehicle warranty if you chose to have the supercharger installed. Just to be clear: They are saying that even if it's purchased and installed at the dealer, they can no longer honor the warranty.

Does anybody have any experience with this?

According to the warranty section on the TRDUSA site superchargers are warranted for 12 months/12000 miles or the balance of the new car powertrain warranty. Whichever is greater from the time of install by the dealer.

This is the whole point of getting a TRD product and having it installed by Toyota. If they wont honor the warranty of your vehicle after the installation why bother getting a TRD product? Something is wrong here with the dealer's lingo or this is major news regarding not honoring vehicle warranties with TRD parts installed by the dealer, (at least to me).

I feel the same way. They claim that this is in a memo from up the ladder...I don't think this should hold water but I wanted to put it out there for people to comment on...

Also does anybody know the invoice price of the TRD Supercharger? I'm still trying to hammer out that one.

Re: Anyone know the TRD supercharger invoice price??

I'm in negotiations with the dealer right now and I told them that I wanted the SC as part of the deal, so far I've got them down to $4100 for the parts and $500 for labor. I'm trying to get it @ invoice, but I don't know what the final figure is.

I did some math from trdsource dot com, they seem to mark everything up about 19% over the invoice prices listed in KansasLawDog's work sheet. Therefore I think invoice should be around $3,100 but I would like to hear from someone that knows more than I.
