Re: **completely Absurd Tt Dealer Quote**

Use Costco or a Credit Unions "buying program" -- I got my TRD for 800 under MSRP at a time dealers were wanting 2-4K premiums..

It's an asking price. tell them to stuff the "toyogaurd" and all the BS fees. offer xxxx under MSRP. never pay more.

Can't we just paint an Fj all white and call it a trails team edition... j/k... then again seriously... I'm an fj junkie but ummm well I'm quite happy with mine and I will not go all out just to have "trail teams edition" on it... or TRD wheels. I don't mean to burst anybody's bubble but honestly it's just ridiculous. I checked one out the other day at my dealers when I was getting my Fa~jay~jay serviced... nothing nuch different.. except it's WHITE and bigger breaks, trd wheels..oh and ummm lights mounted on the bumper. The only thing I'd be interested in doing with a Trail Teams Edition is gankin the blacked out door handles and mirrors... guh I will now leave my soapbox..!

Re: **completely Absurd Tt Dealer Quote**

Yup! "sniff" I payed only $23,400 for my new FJ w/ only 85 miles on the odo. Pretty proud of that accomplishment... "sniff"

I worked 'em over pretty good - knew exactly what I wanted and what it was really worth. It didn't hurt that it was the evening before Thanksgiving, cold, dark, and drizzling outside....

I'd walk or use the internet to find a better dealership.
