Question Help! Great Deal or Not??? (07 Offer)

I'm somewhat new to the forum, and I'm in dealer negotiations that should be completed this weekend. I would like to know if I'm getting a good deal with the following package.

Here's where I'm at with the dealer:

NEW 2007 4X4 FJ AT
+SIDE CURTAIN AIR BAGS
+CQ
+UR
+RB
+Z1
+BUMPER MOUNTED AUX. LIGHTS
+TRD SUPERCHARGER INSTALLED

OTD @ 31,800........What do you think? Should I Take it or Leave it?

I'd try to get them down lower. It's an 07 and we're in the 3rd month of 08 in a few hours. The supercharger installed is probably worth 4500-5000 depending on how many hours and what they charge per hour. What comes with the prefered premium accessories package?

I think there is a $2k rebate on the 07s still, so figure out invoice without the supercharger, subtract $2000 and add on what you think the supercharger is worth to you.

Re: 07 Offer: Take it or Leave it?

Thanks for all the replies.

The vehicle is new (100 test driven miles). The invoice that they showed me came in @ $27,242. I'm basically paying $27,000 for the FJ and that includes the tax and license fees. The supercharger makes up the rest of the deal @ $4692 ish including sales taxes and installation. The price is actually $31,700 out-the-door.

ND40oz - Your math looks the same as my math...They didn't go for the $3,100 supercharger price I wanted. Also, The premium accessory package comes with a passenger armrest, 1st aid kit, carpet mats, and one other thing that cost 20 bucks, but they charge 100.

I'm going back in the morning to hash it out with the dealer and Parts Manager. Hmmm. What to do?

-Also on a side note, Toyota dealerships will no longer allow you to purchase the supercharger and the vehicle on the same check from the bank. I either have to produce hard cash for the supercharger or I don't get it. No more financing the boost

Re: 07 Offer: Take it or Leave it?

DocME

I showed you my numbers, diff in sticker put's your quote at about $2.5k below my OTR price. That sounds reasonable to me for an 07 vs an 08 but I'd bet they are still doing okay.

Sucks that they won't do the SC in the finance deal. They did mine just 2 weeks ago, even through Toyota Financial Services.

Re: 07 Offer: Take it or Leave it?

Ya I was surprised too! The finance manager was a real d*ck. It's too bad, cause I've received great service so far. Oh ya just FYI sales tax and license fees total about $2,500 on this vehicle where I live.

If the SC is something you want then go for it!

Re: 07 Offer: Take it or Leave it?

I got all but no supercharger, Im not sure if you have roof rack or upgrade package 2, my price was $24,740.

The supercharger makes it interesting, how much would that be to purchase and install?
