Re: Need Purchasing Advice

Please let us know what your outcome is. I'm currently searching for the same exact setup as you are. I'd like to know what the final outcome of the price for you was/is/will be.

Thanks and good luck!

Re: Need Purchasing Advice

Well... I did it!

After walking away a couple of times, and negotiating for a week... I finally got the Sandstorm FJ.

2008 Sandstorm, CQ, OF, Roof Rack.
I got what I thought was a fair deal in the end. about 26,500 with the roof rack. I could have done better, but this dealership had given me the best financing rate I could find, so I think it all evens out in the end. Especially since this particular configuration/color was difficult to find in Nor Cal.

The Roof Rack will be in next week.

Now, where was that thread on blackout handles and mirrors?

Re: Need Purchasing Advice

Congratulations on the new purchase! Just wondering, which wheels did it come with?

Re: Need Purchasing Advice

Yahoo! Congrats! You will love it ...

I know you already made your purchase but I noticed a bunch of people talking about going to a credit union and such, I figure I'd chime in with my experience.

The problem is if you know you have bad credit, or you don't know if you have "enough" credit, credit unions are not the best way to go, in my experience anyways. The reason I say this, and I only speak for myself, you have to become a member before they will even talk to you for a loan, which is 30-50$ bucks, do that 5-6 times your already out 300$ before you even talk about a loan ... and like I said, if you know you have bad credit or not enough credit, chances are likely you won't get a better interest rate than what the dealer provided.

Just my thoughts ...

But again congrats and welcome to the community!
