Re: OK Am I nuts?

I went through the Costco Auto Buying Program, and I think I got a pretty good deal. You can also play with options and see the price you ought to get from the partcipating dealer.

Re: OK Am I nuts?

I know he is listening so I have to talk behind his back in front of him... but it sounds like a nice deal there with the 007 dude. Take the trip, buy the FJ and have fun driving home. What better way to get aquainted with your new "Baby" than to drive it. Beats sitting in the driveway reading the manual honking the horn at imaginary potential "roadkill".

Hell, I-5 is loaded with "off the beaten path" places. Drive THROUGH a redwood tree, swing up to Mt Shasta, Shasta Lake, so many things to do.

See if he'll split a few of your "coming-up to buy my FJ expenses" with you.

When the time comes and he is still selling FJs....I just may do this too.

I-90 from Seattle to Boston, How sweet would that be!!!

OK, I am actually thinking of doing this (buying from this dealer in Washington and either driving/having it shipped to me in SoCal). So I am putting this out for comment - is there any reason I SHOULDN'T do this?

Why wait? I'm in SoCal and bought my FJ 4x4, Auto, with the offroad package for $100 under invoice. Price was $25,519 before taxes. PM me if you want the salesman's info. He didn't mess around and didn't even hesitate to give me invoice pricing.

Well at least talking behind my back in front of me is a different approach... LOL LOL LOL I have been doing this for 20 years now so I don't think I'll be going anywhere.. I just hate to see guys getting jacked by the stupid salespeople out there.. This business is what I love and all and I just hate to see the bad things which are said..

Not that you guys aren't right for what you are saying and all, you got jacked and it isn't right..
I just hope I can help, in making the process as good as I can with what I post..
