Trying to get an MT FJ

I'm trying to get an manual transmission FJ, an TT SE if possible, and if not, at least one with the all terrain (OF) package. I went to a dealer yesterday, and it wasn't terribly encouraging. So I just thought I'd ask about a few things.

Is it possible to order an MT SE? The salesman first claimed this configuration didn't exist at all, and only eventually offered to try and find one for me when it was clear to him that I was leaving. But he said that it can't be ordered.

For an MT with the all terrain package, which he also initially claimed didn't exist, he said it would have to be ordered and would take 3 months.

Giving him the benefit of the doubt, some of this could have been a simple lack of familiarity with the model -- maybe I've spent a lot more time looking at the specs and options for this particular model than he has. If I don't give him that, I might suspect he's just wasting my time trying to sell me what he has in stock or can get locally, which would be an AT SE or an MT without the all terrain package. Either way, it deserves a double check -- I'm just wondering how hard it really should be to get either of these FJs. And whether this salesman is on the right track or just stringing me along so that he can try to sell me something else, in which case I need to start looking somewhere else.

Thanks.

Re: Trying to get an MT FJ

Beaman Toyota in Nashville, TN currently has an '08 SE TT with a manual gearbox. I checked it out (again) last night and it is still on the lot. I believe they are asking 33k. So to answer your question, yes they do exist and your salesman is clueless.
