Good deal?

I received the following quote from an area dealer.

$25,469.00 for a 2008, manual transmission, Sandstorm FJ.

Includes dealer's package of all-weather floor mats, cargo mat, cargo door net, armrest, first aid kit, roof rack, tow hitch, tire cover, exhaust tip, rear privacy glass, TRD shocks.

Includes 17" black steel wheels.

Seems like a good deal to me.

Any significant options I will miss not having? I thought about the dashtop instruments (inclinometer, etc.), but I can live without that.

Make sure you have the rear diff. locker. You can add atac later if you want. Sounds alright to me though.

Thanks. The rear differential lock comes standard on manual transmission.

Am I going to miss not having cruise control and/or keyless remote entry? I have both of those now (4Runner), but really don't use the CC much at all.

According to the FJ build site , the rear locker is an option on all FJs. At least that's how I'm reading it.

CC might be nice same with the keyless fob. My last car didnt have CC and it made long drives hell. Also i like being able to open my car without the key. You might want go get these two features

Despite what the official Toyota site says, the dealer I'm talking to says this one has RDL and in his words it is "standard" on the manaul.

Either way, as long as it has RDL, I don't care.

That's great. It's better to be safe than to assume it does.

It was definitely standard on the 07 MT, not sure why they'd change it on the 08 if they did. So it doesn't have the Convenience package? Seems a little high to me then. Without the conv packages it doesn't have the rear parking sonar, power mirrors or rear wiper as well. Just food for thought.
