I picked up my 2008 Sandstorm FJ this past Saturday!
This website has been VERY helpful in the purchasing process, and I wanted to thank everyone who responded to my threads and sent me messages/emails. Reading about the experiences others have had has helped me out, so I hope my brief summary below is helpful to others...
The FJ was purchased from Jim Barkley Toyota in NC. My FJ has the following equipment: auto, 4x4, roof rack, UR package, and tow hitch. The msrp was $30,914 and I got it reasonable price. The price included any type of admin/doc fee. The state tax will be paid to the DMV, once I register it in IL.
Overall, I had a great experience working with Jim Barkley Toyota. I worked with Allen, and he made this process quick and easy. I flew to NC on Saturday morning, and they picked me up from the airport. I was in and out of the dealership in 20 minutes, driving away with my new FJ! No sales pressure to purchase additional services/warranties. I highly recommend them!!
