Demello help please

Hi sorry to use the forums like this, but I have called twice and emailed once, can't seem to get a hold of anyone. I know they are in the process of moving, and I would like to buy and come pick up a pair of sliders, before they move too far from me to come in on a regular day. Just needed an inventory, who can I contact to get this, normally its not a big deal but as I work in San diego Id have to set out a time frame, or take a day off to get in. Sorry again for the poor forum manners, just need to get this done.

Re: Demello help please

Hell, I tried getting answers out of them about their sliders and finally gave up! Bought TG's last night after three failed attempts with Demello. I would have loved to give them my $, but no such luck...
BTW: good luck...I hear they are great to work with.

Re: Demello help please

Normally he is here to answer questions, but I guess with the move they have been quite busy, its really my fault for assuming they would always be in Santa Ana, one of the reasons Im drawn to them, for the proximity and support. Corona isnt that far I guess, but I can't deal with the 91, its a female dog to get out to the IE.

Re: Demello help please

I tried to email Jason several times, and then I just PM'd him from this board. He got back in touch with me in a couple of hours.

Give it a try.

Re: Demello help please

oh, Im not posting this to give them a hard time, I was just hoping to catch them before they moved, if you read my post I clearly took blame for not acting sooner. Trust me, I've defended Demello a few times on here....

Re: Demello help please

They moved this past weekend. The phones are still in transition and on Saturday, their phone number was still ringing them in the Santa Ana shop. I was there helping them move and while we were there, the phone was ringing constantly; unfortunately, in the middle of a move, most of the calls were left ringing. I think they were going to try and finish the move by Sunday night, but I'm sure it was late when they did. Try giving a call tomorrow mid-day and see if you can get a hold of them. I know they had a lot of sliders in stock (because, some were in the back of my truck), but I don't know if they were Tacoma or FJ sliders.

I thought moving a house was hard, but when you need a forklift for most of your things ( mill, lathe, drill press(es), welding tables, race truck frames, etc ) it ends up being quite the effort.

His computer was down (obviously) all weekend, and he was really busy prepping for the move, so that's why he hasn't been on here in a while.

Like I said, give him a call tomorrow and see if you can get ahold of him. I think his goal was to be fully operational come opening this morning.

I'm sure he appreciates your patience.

Oh, and his shop is only 24 miles (according to mapquest) from his last shop. During weekend traffic, it took about 20 minutes from driveway to driveway. Weekday morning traffic could be like 147 hours though.

Thanks I was hoping you would chime in to give me the skinny. I will make the time and effort to get out to the IE to pick up the sliders, the heads up is much appreciated.
