Oh yeah!!!

I think Jason's group has surely got the bumper thing down. Among the best looking front and now rear bumpers out there. Why the 1/2 inch shackle over the 3/4 inch ?

Anyway, I await the word on how much green for this one. I wonder if D-O would consider a package deal on front, rear, and skid?
Were all about the less weight=less broken parts, better gas mileage and so on. We use the same 1\2in shackle mounts on the front bumper. We could do thicker ones but the plate they are mounting too is only 3/16in and we feel more than enough. But if everyone wants 3\4in we could change them.

As soon as we can get all these pieces together we will be happy to do a package deal. As it is now we can't keep anything in stock. It's a good problem to have but it's still a problem.

Re: Demello Skid and Rear Bumper Group Buy

Congrats on your problem!

Yeah, 1/2 inch shackles should be sufficient. I was just asking because many of the shackles I have laying around the garage are 3/4 inch. Granted, I would use those primarily on points directly mounted on the frame. So 1/2 inch...keep with what you got...just get it out for those who have hot pants from all that money burning in there. As for me, I'll be counting one penny at a time

Re: Demello Skid and Rear Bumper Group Buy

I'd prefer the 3/4 shackle mounts but with the way you're putting this bumper together, I wouldn't complain about 1/2's. You'll have the only rear bumper worth buying. And I hope you sell a zillion of 'em.
