Ok it's no secret that Todd and Sol's rigs have taken a larger part of my time up. We have also been plagued with a horrible string of welders/fabricators. Our standards are a little high so no average joe will do. And I like it when you pay someone that they show up to work.

The other huge problem is space, we don't have any. BUT that is about to change here very soon! The bigger shop will allow me to pull my FJ in and pull the rear bumper and leave the FJ there and work on it in my spare time.

Along with that we are still looking for a welder/fabricator.
My welds suck but can I still have the job.
I am a quick learner and love working on trucks and getting burnt by welding slag.

How about an apprenticeship.
If I was better at welding I would apply in a heart beat I am so burnt out of working in an office 8-5 5 days a week.

If by apprenticeship you mean close to minum wage, I'm sure we could work something out..lol

I really need a welder that is good enough to hit the ground running. I have been approached by a couple guys that want just side work. But in my experience that never works out for either party. I have way to much work for "side work" I need one maybe two full time guys welding and or fabricating. I really need someone like my self I need someone to work crazy long hours and get paid next to nothing and only care about the final product.

I will start practicing my welds then

Good luck to you on your search for a new welder/fab guy.

he already did that, but it's going to be about 10 years before the clone is proficient at welding and fabrication.
