Pic Request: Demello Front bumper owners!

Hey! Still kinda trying to budget and plan mods and as far as front bumpers go the demello looks like the best bet for me... Relatively sturdy while fairly light and not as expensive as some of the other alternative. Not planning on getting a winch so that's not a real factor.

Does anybody have pics of the demello bumper from side? seen enough from the front and like th look, but i'd be interested in seeing what it looks like in profile compared to the stock tupperware. I found one pic from Savvyav...just wondering if there are more maybe showing the whole FJ?

Also is any cutting involved in mounting it? it looks like part of the body sticks out at the bottom on each side, does that bother anybody?
thanks.

I sent an email to you awhile back from your website. The picture of your sliders that you click to make bigger only shows a blurry shot of the side of the truck with no sliders.

I trimmed the front part of the plastic fender well to match the bumper, with a pair of tin snips. Easy to do and not part of the body.

Re: Pic Request: Demello Front bumper owners!

Alright, I was originally just considering an aftermarket bumper for some point in the future.... However, today at work somebody backed into my FJ and scrunched up the plastic bumper in one corner. Their insurance is going to pay so i'm thinking it might be time for the new bumper sooner than planned. Originally iw as thinking I might do the bumper and level the rig at the same time but if do end getting the bumper now the suspension work might be a little while away still.

My question is: Have any of run the Demello bumper on stock springs for an extended period of time? Shouldl I worry about nose dive or weight issues? Will my fornt end sag?

Part of the reason why I have my eyes on the Demello is because it's relatively light compared to ARB etc. but it's still heavier than the stock bumper, so do i need to be concerned? Also it's one of the more affordable ones and looks great in my opinion...

I appreciate you guys' help and advice, I just usually try to do things right the first time...

About 2,000 miles was enough for me.

Yes.

Yes, maybe 1/4".

The braking dive is the worst aspect. If you can handle that then you are OK, but the handling is dramatically improved with the addition of OME springs.
