Demello makes some good $....tuff

Just wanted to post about my FJ's recent addition of Demello sliders. I received them Tuesday night and installed them Wednesday night. The friggin things seem to be made to withstand a nuclear blast! Holy crap they are overkill. Install was a breeze thanks to someone's post advising on using a homedepot bucket to hold the slider in place (Did it solo). The sliders look great and I can't wait to put them to real use. They even held my fat arse jumping up and down on em, however, I was holding on to the stock roof rack (The tube not the cross member) it that felt like it would snap!

Anywho, time to eat some turkey, drink some homemade wine, and make my arse even fatter.

Thanks guys for building some serious parts! The welds and workmanship are top notch which is a rare to find these days!

Glad to hear that Diesel1. A new Demello front bumper should be on the way to my FJ any day now. Was being powder coated this week. Gooble up that turkey and home brew.

I've winched my FJC from the side with the Demello sliders, I've crushed the tubes of the sliders without any flex of the bars or change in their mounting position - they are the strongest sliders out there, IMO...

Re: Demello makes some good $....tuff

Sliders are probably about 80 pounds for both. I think the shipping weight is 87 but that has more to do with it's size. They are heavy duty.
