Demello Christmas Giving Back!

What is Christmas about? GIVING! So therefore I'm going to give!

DeMello Off-Road is going to give away one pair of FJ sliders to one of this Forums members.
I want you to tell me why not you but anther member on this forum deserves this gift. Maybe they just lost there job, maybe there wife left them. Maybe you are the wife looking to get your husband that perfect gift but you just can't afford it.

Now I don't want someone taking these and selling them on EBay. The point is for someone that normally would not be able to afford something like this to be able to get them and use them. And yes I will find out!

So in a short post let me here why you think FILL THE BLANK deserves to have these sliders under there tree for Christmas. Remember keep the post like a ladies skirt long enough to cover the subject but short enough to keep interest.

You have 3 days to submit your post on Tuesday the 18th I will pick the best submission, and we will send the sliders out. Hopefully they will get to you by Christmas.

GREAT NEWS!

PAIGE AND JULIE OF AEROFLOW have graciously donated a pair of HLC FJ cruiser light covers to the winner.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

You make a terrific slider Jason. I haven't managed to mangle mine badly enough to justify yours yet but maybe this spring . What a great idea for a Christmas contest.

Re: Demello Christmas Giving Back!

I will do this for my wife she is the greatest wife, I over spend on the fj, and she doesn't even buy clothes for herself, I was going to get the tg sliders, when I told her, she told me to go ahead and buy them, I felt bad because I haven't even bought a christmas gift for her. Thank you.

Re: Demello Christmas Giving Back!

Highbeams and I were talking to a guy that was looking at some All-Pro sliders and wanted to know how much they were. He was also asking about the ARB's. Beams and I both told him at the same time that your sliders were MUCH better(Highbeams called them the best). The All-Pro guy could hear us and shot us "The look". I think Chip got the Idea!
Anyway I'll look for his forum name and PM you.

Re: Demello Christmas Giving Back!

VOODOOBREW (formerly known as MLOVETT) has wanted a set of sliders for a very long time. She called and e-mailed All Pro over a period of about 3 months and was snubbed.

She's an active member of the forum and while she has an FJ that she drives, she's uncomfortable taking it off road because she doesn't have sliders. He doesn't share her off-road interests. To quote her (and this wasn't for the purpose of getting a free set of sliders).

Quote:
Husband has NO time, NO interest. Much like cutting down the Xmas tree in my front yard, I am on my own.
There may be a more just, deserving soul out there, but she'd be at the top of my list. She's been a forum member since the beginning and an FJ enthusiast and has been aching to take her FJ into the dirt - but has been unable to do that for want of sliders. She hasn't done a lot of mods to her FJ for want of $ and the skill to do it all herself, but she's "one of the forum family".

She lives in NorCal - don't hold that against her.

Re: Demello Christmas Giving Back!

Just a suggestion...If this doesn't violate forum policy:
Offer the sliders for a sealed bid (via PM) and give the money received to a needy family or child. Hi bidder gets the sliders and makes a needy family happy.
