Want me to make your life more miserable? Check out the new FN Herstal SCAR Light (.223) and Heavy (.308). CA-legal versions of "the twins" are supposed to be available in the Fall from LAN World, Inc.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program, i.e., ICON links.
I'm only getting two lowers for now, I will build one and put the other on the shelf.
Are you talking about this?

Wow what does that cost? Is that going to be Cali legal?

Yep, that's my baby.

It will probably be released by Lanworld w/ a pinned (BulletButton) 10/20 or 10/30 mag and, depending on the overall length, perhaps a fake can. As long as the ten-rounder is fixed and the extended length meets CA requirements, it should be good to go. The .223 is supposed to run just south of $1500.

This is defintely a kick-ass, modular platform (barrel/lower swaps possible), that I hope and pray will be released to the public before the next administration gets busy with the latest iteration of their AWB.

The bullet button scares me a little, if they are going to nail you for anything it's going to be for that. I'm going to go with the allen screw deal which really isn't that bad once you get to where you are going. I have been doing some online searches on the whole thing. When Hilary or Obamo get the white house we can kiss these good by. I give it maybe 6 months after they get in the white house. A Democrate controled senate is key to getting all sorts of things passed. That is why I want to get mine now.

The Scar is pretty awesome looking gun, I hope I can get one too before then.

Re: ICON REAR LINKS Taking orders now

Very cool rifle. I went nuts pre-ban and bought 2 M4 style and 1 HBAR AR...even so this might be a nice addition!
