Here is a pic. Not the best but looking at it in person, the slider will come in contact with the door before it impacts the FJ. The sliders stick out about as far as the plastic fenders do. Now if someone opens a rear door, I don't think that any slider will protect it because the rear door is formed around the rear wheel well.

Sliders look great! I never thought about the rear door over the wheel on most cars smacking our side panels. I have the predator side bars and I've read they are useless as far as protection is concerned because they are mounted to the body panel?. The ones you installed mount to the frame not the body correct?
I never thought of it either until I opened the rear door of the car in the pic and saw what damage can be caused

Install for the springs was $120.00 without the alignment which I'm going to get next week. Thanks I really like the lift alot. Now I just need to add the sliders.
