I have the same ones and they rock! Best looking slider out IMO.

I agree. I was about to buy the hybrid sliders during the sale but then Jason posted about the new tube sliders. This is what I have been looking for.

Do the sliders stick out far enough to prevent dings? I like these a lot more than any others, I just need them to be functional in preventing door dings. Thanks!

Re: Demello Tube Sliders Installed

Here is a pic. Not the best but looking at it in person, the slider will come in contact with the door before it impacts the FJ. The sliders stick out about as far as the plastic fenders do. Now if someone opens a rear door, I don't think that any slider will protect it because the rear door is formed around the rear wheel well.

Keep in mind that I am sitting at stock height (level lift up front). When I install a 3" lift I will be higher than most vehicles and for sure the sliders will protect. If this vehicle was raised, my FJ would have a nice ding

Sliders look great! I never thought about the rear door over the wheel on most cars smacking our side panels. I have the predator side bars and I've read they are useless as far as protection is concerned because they are mounted to the body panel?. The ones you installed mount to the frame not the body correct?

I was looking for your rig at the M&G so I could see your sliders in person. I guess you didnt get them in time. Any chance you could take a pic from the side down low. I was wondering about the gap between the rocker panel and the slider. On some other pics the gap looked pretty big for the hybrid sliders.

In my sig is a picture of my rig with my lift. Thanks again for the shop info you gave me but I went to a shop closer to home. I really like the sliders !!!
