Hi Matto,
That's good to hear that it has been working so far
Hello RJP,
The random and repeat buttons from the radio will most likely still not put the iPod into shuffle or repeat mode, unless selected directly from the iPod. Those features we are still trying to add in so it works with all makes of vehicles.
The Dice unit is still working good. The only thing that I'm not sure is a issue or not is that if the ipod was playing a song, and I listen to the ipod and it moves to another song .. when I plug it back into the Dice unit - it resets to the first song in that playlist ...

Other than that .. it's purfect.
Mine does that too. I simply use the steering wheel controls to FF to the next song in the Playlist, which is always a random choice.

Hi Matto,
If you disconnect the iPod from the DICE unit and use it for music with headphones or another device, then the playlist might start over when hooked back up. However, if you disconnect the iPod from the DICE and hook it back up a few hours later without doing anything to the iPod, then it should definitely start up where it left off. Does it always start over from the beginning?

I want to make sure I understand correctly. Does the new firmware fix the problem where the DICE is not always recognized when I start my FJ, especially if the CD or CD1 input is not selected or if the FJammer is off? It is pretty inconvenient to have to restart my car sometimes just because of DICE.

I will let ya know.
My new one arrived today, and I swapped out the 2nd one.
I am on my 3rd, as I was one of the first 3 or so to get the original one when it was sold for the FJ, and the text did not show on the first gen.
The 2nd one I just swapped out today worked great, but every once in awhile it would get the FJammer not seeing it, but turning off the rig then turning it back on would cure it as others found out.
That just started in too recently for some reason, as it never did that at first when I got the 2nd one.
But I will put this one through its paces this week to see if that still happens or not.
I hooked up the new one today by just plugging in the cables, nothing else.
It fired right up after turning on the rig and picked up on the correct song in my playlist.
