If you send an email to contact@diodedynamics.com we may still be able to take it off your order (if your order hasn't shipped yet)

Thank you for your support!

Nick C.
They have already shipped I am supposed to get them today. If they work out, I will most likely be following up with the cargo and license plate led's. I am also considering the turn signal lights as well.

NOTE: if you are doing this you should also remove the diffuser while you have you mirror off. Which actually makes a huge difference even more then changing bulbs

Here is a link to another members ( lstamatis ) thread detailing how to proceed with diffuser removal

Any pictures with the HP36's? I like the sound of 210 lumens, but I am a bit concerned it's too much for the mirror lights.

We didn't take any comparison photos with HP36 installed, but it's not going to be too bright for the mirror lights.

A member on the forum has installed them in his FJ, maybe he will chime in?

I will be installing the HP5's in my mirrors tonight. I can possibly snap a pic after I am done. I have nothing to compare it to as the mirror lights were burned out when I bought it.

Re: Video: How to Install FJ Cruiser Mirror Light LEDs! Great Modern Upgrade!

I received the new mirror lights yesterday and went ahead and installed them. Luckily, the 07 FJ does not have the same drivers side mirror issues that were described by Mike55 on the 2014 FJ, so the install was a breeze. I had both mirrors and the dome light replaced in less than 10 minutes, and I must say that the new LED's look great. The dome light is much brighter than the OEM and as I stated earlier, both of the OEM mirror light bulbs were burnt out when I bought it so I have nothing to compare it to. I am glad that I went with the HP5's because they are plenty bright, and if they were any brighter, I would be worried about getting a ticket here in California. The one and only complaint I have is that along with my LED's, Diode Dynamics sent me a sticker, which I had every intention of putting it on my FJ, however, the sticker fell apart when I was attempting to peel the back of it off. Some of the letters remained attached to the back of the sticker, and the rest stayed on the front where they were supposed to be before you put it on the vehicle. All well I guess. Here are a few pics I took of the LED's in action:

Looking good!!! You won't have to worry about receiving a ticket for these lights. They are an auxiliary lighting location.

Sorry to hear about the decal! I completely agree with you about the sticker issues, thankfully we should be getting new ones soon! If you'd like us to send you some new decals, feel free to email: contact@diodedynamics.com. We have quite a few different varieties as well!

Glad to hear you are happy with them! Great looking FJ also

Thanks Nick! I will for sure be ordering the cargo light and the license plate light in the near future. I have also told a buddy of mine about your product. He has a Dodge Ram that is constantly blowing bulbs, so he is considering going the LED route.
