Here you go bro! LOL, I almost wish I'd left it Chrome or Gray but it still looks cool as nails. Way nicer than that P.O.S. metal band from the factory. But then again, it'll really look nice when I eventually replace the battery with an Optima Red, or Yellow, top battery.
Now my only question is about the tightness of the clamp. I tightened it down to where it was pretty snug but it seemed like it definately could be tightened some more. However I didn't want to push the limit and destroy something. So, I hope I got it tight enough.
I just wonder what the weakest link in the Battery clamp system is. Is it the FJoel clamp, the metal that those hooks hook into, or that battery itself? Which would be the first to give if over tightened?
Greetings... get busy on the website. Comming in half ****ed like this sends bad signals.
Snag a bunch of pics, go to TemplateMonster.com, get a template, setup a paypal merchant account... Done. 1 days work tops. Dont let anyone charge you over a grand for a decent web presence.
Freakin' awesome! Thanks so much! I'll email you with more details.

Thanks again!

I wondered the same thing when I first put one in my FJ. I know the aluminum will flex a little, but I can't see that solid chunk of billet ever breaking. My guess would be the holes those threaded rods hook into, for weakest link. I should try to find a torque setting that works. Looks like I'm taking mine out again! Hahaha

Good luck. Looks like a nice product.
I admit, I have never had a website, know nothing about them, and still wouldn't if I hadn't had to have one to comply with the rules of being a vendor. My close friend, dconstruck, is a professional graphic designer, and he works on the site on the side when he can, but he needs my help with all the info. I'll get to it, but I'd much rather be in my garage playing with my cnc mill making these things than on my computer, or his, trying to pretend I know how websites work.
Thanks for the info rutherk1, I will look into it for sure!

let me come play with your cnc machine and Ill make you all the free websites you want .
My buddy made a cnc machine. Pretty cool. Too bad it was for wood .
I wondered that after I posted my reply. Oh well, if it doesn't I'll have to cross my fingers and hope FJoel is still around. I'm sure he could make something that works.
Hey great to hear (everyone who has one that is ) is loving their battery mounts! I'm FJoels (mostly) silent partner in this little venture, and I'm working on the site, I swear. I'm just damn slow, and I'm not into putting up anything half-assed. Anyways, thats who I am if you care to know, and again, thanks for your patience with this stuff.
