We recently purchased and just recieved an aluminum anodizing studio setup. We will now be doing custom anodizing in addition to our custom CNC machining. Please feel free to send us your ideas for anything and we'll do our best to help you out. This applies to parts that we manufacture and parts you already have!
Anodizing companies charge minimums and to have one part done is very uneconimical. If you have one to several parts you need anodized you can contact us for a quote, and we will set something up if it works out for you. The companies we used previously charged $50 and $55 minimums per color. We aren't going to set a minimum as this is not practical for any type of custom work, which is where the fun is at.
Don't be afraid to ask, just because there may be a distance between us, doesn't mean the shipping charges will be outrageous. Shipping via the USPS and Canada Post may take some time, but is very affordable. You will probably still save some money as opposed to getting a large local shop to do it (if they don't have minimums then you probably are better to support your local guys and local economy!) For rushed orders we can use the carrier of your choice, but keep in mind this costs a fair bit more.
What would it cost to anodize wheel rings black, or the correct shade blue to match the FJ ? - these are lighter than the Voodoo Blue. Unfortunately, the Mojave rings in 17" only come in blue, chrome, and red stock. I don't know if something this big would be worth it - just the rings, not the whole wheel, easy to ship. PM if you like. I love your battery clamp A++.
I thought about just sanding them down and painting them, but I don't even know if that would work - I'd probably mess them up good . Right now, I'm running chrome rings .

I have some rather plain, generic-looking center caps on my MB Razor wheels and would like to know about getting them anodizing in my FJ's Sun Fusion color! Just four of them, not all 5, as my spare is covered by the tire cover. Let me know about this option and thanks for a great idea!

It's anodizing, not powder coating. I don't think you'll be able to get color matches.
Anodize dye can me mixed the same as powder coating powder, but the anodize will always appear metallic as it is being grown out (usually about 0.001") of the aluminum. Only problem is mixing takes time and patience.
Noisycow...Let me try to make a batch of Voodoo Blue dye before you send them here and I give you a quote or anything, I bet you'd prefer this to black right? Black anodize is easy, by the way.

I'm not quite sure what those wheels are... I went straight for the Mojaves! If they are aluminum I can do 'em. Yellow will almost always have a gold tinge, just the way the dye reacts with the aluminum, but I have some new yellows to play with and may be able to get something very close.
