Lightbulb Goal Zero redesigned

GZ has redesigned their Yeti 400 & they now have a 1400 watt-hour power pack, both with Lithium batteries. https://www.goalzero.com/yeti/

I still have my original design Escape 150, 9 years and no problems. Lots of options and accessories to choose from when the lights go out and you don't want to run the gennie.

Check out the Road Shows near you. Goal Zero - Extreme Portable Power

As always, no affiliation.

I had the 100 watt renogy solar panels for an rv and they were flexible. Great product I thought. I believe they were discontinued though. I have my eye on the new goal zero 1500.

Re: Goal Zero redesigned

@Hannibal . I saw them, but at $1,000 not sure what I need one for. What do people use these for? If you hooked it up to a solar panel system would they supply enough power to boon dock in?

Re: Goal Zero redesigned

That all depends on what you want to power with it. Corey did a nice write up on his set up and there's quite a few others on here who use solar panels on their FJ to power items. Winterpeg has a 2 panels on his roof rack, with dual batteries and an ARB fridge.

Basil was gifted a GZ setup by GZ in exchange for photography work.

I have 4 of the older style Lite-A-Life LED lights and 3 Boulder 15 panels=45 watts to power my smaller Escape 150 watt GZ pack. Plus the 120V AC and car 12V charger. I bought the LUNA LED strip USB light for the FJ, but it doesn't have an ON/OFF switch. I spoke with GZ and they've redesigned it to have a switch now. http://www.goalzero.com/p/422/luna-touch-led-light
