Gentlemen and Ladies,

If you know of anyone that might be considering a new place to live or a change of pace in employment and have the following qualifications, then please have them forward their RESUME to me as soon as possible as we have vacancies ready for immediate fill. The ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance is required if not already in place:

(Information Systems Security Analyst 3)- CCNA with ability to get CCNP, plus technical degree or 13 years of progressive network experience. Security+ is minimum though CISSP is preferred.


(Information Systems Security Analyst 2)- Travel position (up to 50%) with MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP or CCSP with network engineer, network administrator or other relevant hands on type of experience. Security+ is minimum though CISSP is preferred.


(Information Systems Security Analyst 3)- Travel position (up to 40% but likely less) with experience writing C&A packages. CISSP heavily preferred with a degree.

(Information Systems Security Analyst 3)- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture is a plus. Experience with BEA Web Logic, web servers (Apache, IIS, etc) and database background in SQL, Oracle, etc). A degree and CISSP would allow Systems Security Engineer 4 hiring position upon hire.

In addition to these specific requirements there are also pipeline requisitions where we are always looking for candidates who are great prospects with a wider range of possibilities but maybe not the specific technical flavor needed above. They are also welcome to apply and get an interview.

I have been wanting to get into the IT Security field, but still lacking in experience and certs to apply for your list now. I graduated with a B.S. in Information Systems Security in 2007. Can you recommend what certifications I can try to obtain first to get my foot in the door?
