hello all, i hope i put this in the right spot. I am so happy to say that i finally got accepted for a new job... I worked at The Home Depot for almost 7 years now, and i am sad to leave but money talks. I am going to start a new job in a few weeks with ALDI (discount food store), that pays me more, not only will i be able to get the lovely lady a ring now, but i can also get some cool stuff for the fj.

You probably shouldn't have put "new ring" ring in the same sentence with "cool stuff for the FJ". She might get your allegiances confused. Wouldn't hurt to separate them and then get the cool FJ stuff after she says yes Although I'm guessing since your talking about rings, she already knows how you feel about the FJ.
