Life expectancy of the FJ V6

Bearing in mind that not a lot of these have passed the 100K mile marker. Toyota has had a pretty good track record with higher mileage engines.
What would be the life expectancy (proper maintenance included) of this engine?

Actually many individuals have taken their FJs past 100k miles, MT and AT, someone actually posted the other day that passed over 200k miles just search for the thread that says who has the most miles or something to that effect

Edit: well it wasn't the other day, it was in September but check out post #18

As good or better than any other Toyota engine. I expect to get several hundred thousands of miles out of mine. Doesn't burn or leak a drop of oil at over 120,000 miles, so I figure that is a good start.

i have seen 1gr's with over 200k miles on them plenty of times, and they seem to be running strong.

Re: Life expectancy of the FJ V6

I made 227K on my '96 Z71 before I sold it 4 years ago. I expect to make it to at least 300K with this engine.

You can outrun a Crown Vic, but you can't outrun a MOTOROLA.

regular maintenance to the rig should keep it running a long time.

Re: Life expectancy of the FJ V6

My work vehicle (2005 4Runner) has 150K miles on it and that engine runs the exact same as mine does in terms of everything. It is still ridiculously quick for an SUV.
