Trd Supercharger

Does anyone have any knowledge on installing and the performance of a TRD Supercharger. I am looking to purchase one but there are no specs out for it. Like DYNO results.
Thanks pgaups

Re: Trd Supercharger

I would be interested in one as well. I have not seen any literature on a TRD Supercharger for the FJ. I hope they make one!

Re: Trd Supercharger

TRD does not have a supercharger available yet. URD DOES have a production SC available. Go here to see the URD SC.

I believe that the Ultimate Adventure FJ used this supercharger. The said in the article that on a Tacoma 4.0, it gained 92 RWHP. They did not get a chance to dyno the FJ, so i dno. but i would assume power increases would be very similar.

URD is $4,700. That is way to much even with a 90 HP increase. Anyone out there want to sponsor me?

are yall crazy?? that is cheap for 90hp. most spend $1,000.00 on Intake, Headers, and Exhaust. and only manage to get 20-25 hp. after hose 3 basic things everything else is expensive as hell as well. to port and polish. to change cams and gears and new pulleys and internals . now all together would bring incredible results but you would spend at least 10k. so 5k for 90hp sound nice to me.

Re: Trd Supercharger

$5k for an extra 90+hp is worth it to me (I mean, if Toyota offered a 330hp version of the FJ I suspect many people would have opted for it). My only concern about SC'ing my FJ would be warranty issues.

I spent $6K (not including $2K more for upgrades to the diff. flywheel and clutch) for a SC on my S2000 and have no regrets.
