Red face Bolted on the TRD exhaust system today!

Thanks to ibTravis for the great deal and having the 'family' help get it on in the parking lot. The hardest part was busting lose the nuts in the back. Took about 40 minutes total.

Drove it back down to Diego from Santa Ana (about 75 miles). Noticed a few differences. Louder when you give it gas or pass someone, not much louder at idle or cruising speeds. Seemed a little peppier from a standing start. Defintely sounds a little 'angrier."

All in all, it seems like it was worth it. I have to take a little polish to the tip. Travis recommended Nevr-Dull which I picked up in the cloth form at PepBoys. Anybody use this or anything else good to keep the tip polished?

Edit:
Ain't the internet great? I just googled exhuast tip polishing and poked around and found all these recommended products to keep your tips looking bright, in addition to Nevr-Dull:

Mr. Sheen
McGuire's Metal Polish
Stain Magic by Yoshimura
Flitz
LusterLace by Luster Care (sounds similar to Nevr-Dull)

My exhaust tip would stay a lot shinier if the humpers would do their job, while they are down there .

Nevr-dull is great stuff! I've only used the cotton wadding kind. I would follow it up with a regular car polish to hold the shine longer.
