Mileage with a Manual...

I was wondering what kind of mileage those with a manual transmission are getting on the highway and at what speed and with which grade of gas?

Mine has been 22 mpg (Imperial gallon) at 110 kmph (70 mph) with premium fuel (Octane 91).

Re: Mileage with a Manual...

I have done all my estimates on regular or medium grade gas. 16.5 city and about 20 HWY. I drive fast.

Re: Mileage with a Manual...

I consistently get 16.9 mpg on a stop and go commute to work every week. For those times that I spend a little time on the interstate (roughly 70-75 mph) I usually pull off about 17.5 mpg on average. Cross-country trips on the interstate routintely gets me 18 at best. I always use Premium 93 octane gas.

Re: Mileage with a Manual...

worst 15 mpg and best 18 mpg (last was avg of 60 mph on reg). Hmmm . . . maybe I should try 55 mph and a higher octane . . .
