Re: AC Condensation Drain Tube Clogged

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? My FJ has been leaking water onto the passenger side floorboard for weeks, and if you turn the radio off it sounds like there's a fountain under the dash. To top it off now when I hit the brakes or turn left quickly, the fan is hitting the water & sounds like a hissing/bubbling sound. It has been suggested the drain tube may be plugged - anyone familiar with where that is located? Might be a good routiene maintenance item to check for so this doesnt happen to anyone else...
My first guess would be the drain tube is clogged. IIRC, you had removed all your mudflaps. Not having the mudflap on the passenger wheel well may contribute to this clogging?

Re: AC Condensation Drain Tube Clogged

Perhaps a little screen wrapped around the end (like on in-tank gas lines/sensors) would do the trick...
