I would love to get some headers. I have not for the FJ though.
My experience with manifold and header gaskets is that they are one time use. From a logical standpoint during the initial torque they would be compressed and mushroom slightly to create the seal. This type of gasket will not return to its original shape when removed.
Dustin from JBA told me the OEM gasket is best and that it's reusable however as stated above I have always changed mine when installing headers. I would use new OEM gaskets
I ended up re using the factory on. I'm pretty sure there may be a tiny leak on the drivers side even though I can't feel it. Couldn't get the bolts any tighter really. So hard to tighten the lower bolts. Now I'm afraid if I try to put new gaskets on I will break the bolts. Maybe I'll just get a shop to do it so they would have to fix it.
You need new gasket — reuse old is a cheap mistake
