Re: Snorkel, CAI, TRD Exhaust. Christmas comes early for Dragon.

My first impression of the snorkel was that it was too plasticy and just plain ugly. But on your rig with all the blacked out pieces it fits in perfectly. Looks awesome!

There is ice on that lake, otherwise I might have at least backed down the ramp for the photo

Re: Snorkel, CAI, TRD Exhaust. Christmas comes early for Dragon.

Bill - you have done it again, looks perfect. I thought I could go without the snorkel, like you, didn't like the way it looked on the black FJ's. In the back of my mind, I thought it would look better on the SF FJ's then you had to go ahead and put it on yours which may have just pushed me into "mod mode" again.

I'm also considering the Bushwacker flares also but wonder if there is a space conflict flares and the snorkel. I think a SF would look amazing with that combo. I'm just glad the wife doesn't ever look in on the forum, it would cause way more conflicts before things actually happened...

Yes, better to keep her ignorant

The snorkel comes precariously close to the fender trim. I think if you put the flares and snorkel on together you would need to notch the flares as you really can't notch the snorkel. I think it could be done and I agree it would look great.

Thanks for the compliment
