Re: Change fluids over to Amsoil??

I own a 2007 manual tranny and I switched both diff's, the transmission and transfer case over to Severe Gear 75W-90. I have had no problems so far.

Re: Change fluids over to Amsoil??

I'm about to change all the fluids in the drivetrain over to Amsoil. After reading this thread, it seems like the consensus is Severe Gear 75W-90 for the front and rear differentials and transfer case. Some have said to use the 75W-90 in the manual transmission and others 75W110?

Yup. You've summed it up nicely. About 9k miles later, I'm happy with 75W110 in the tranny.

The difference between the two is negligible, unless you live in some area of extremes in temperature.
