Re: can dealer tell oil changes?

Anything done at a dealer gets entered into a database that any Toyota dealer can look up by VIN. Other than that, the answer is "no". If you're worried about the warranty then just save your receipts for oil and filters but I've never ever been asked for any kind of proof.

Re: can dealer tell oil changes?

the only thing that may show up is the check engine resets. other than that SAVE THEM RECIPTS!! and if they are thermal paper, make a copy of them because the ink fades away after about a year and you will have a bunch of blank paper slips proving nothing.
