Put your odometer to the odometer reading (not Trip A or B). Turn off your ignition. Press and hold your odometer button then turn the ignition key on (don't start it). Hold the odometer button in until the lines on the odometer display stop blinking (and there's a beeping sound too if I recall correctly) - takes about five seconds and then your set for another 5000 miles.

i dont know, but thats a good question since i dont plan on going to the stealer my self, i usually do my own oil.
did you do your own oil, andnow the change oil light wont turn off?

Anywhere from 5-5.5 qts depending on the size of the oil filter you use. I use a stock sized filter and 5 qts. puts the oil level at the top of full on my FJ.

also some other info is that those little lines that disappear will turn on the maintenance light at varying intervals. leave 4 lines on and the reading will turn on in 4k miles. leave 3 lines on and reading will turn on in 3k miles and so on.
